Choosing A Dress for Your Orange County Maternity and Newborn Photoshoot
When I made the shift from being a wedding photographer to a newborn photographer in Orange County, I knew that I wanted to serve Mamas well from start to finish. I wanted to meet them in the season they were in - one full of so much beauty, but also one that can leave you standing in your closet in tears.
As a new mom myself I can remember being so stressed trying to figure out what to wear for my daughter's newborn session and not feeling completely myself. Itβs not an easy session to prepare for ahead of time. You donβt know how youβll feel or what your body will be like. Yet, you also donβt want to go shopping with a newborn.
Insert our client wardrobe! Itβs one of our clientβs favorite parts of the AWP experience. All they have to do is show up and the dresses are waiting for them.
I am very intentional about the dresses I add to the client wardrobe. Each one is timeless, neutral, and photographs beautifully whether we are in the studio or out at the beach. This also makes it easy to coordinate outfits for your spouse and/or other children.
Each dress has also been carefully selected for all body types in mind and is flattering on everyone from maternity to postpartum in sizes XS-3XL. Most of these dresses have adjustable waistlines and zip in the back. Just like wedding dress shopping, we use those clips to have the dress fit perfectly and no one can ever tell!
Wardrobe is included with every session for Mamaβs. Once you have booked your session and we start the planning process, youβll receive a link with the full inventory of dresses!
