Baby Boy Newborn Session | Grayson in Newport Beach Studio
You may have seen these parents from their beautiful maternity session in my Newport Beach studio. Mom, Charlotte and I connected with sharing our personal journeys to motherhood and what a gift our rainbow babies are. It’s why they chose to capture their son’s first year and document his important milestones.
Mom was able to sit back, relax and get hair and makeup done while I photographed Grayson. I always tell clients to be open and share the look they hope to achieve with our hair and makeup team. She mentioned being very natural, and our talented artist had Charlotte thrilled with how beautiful she looked but still felt like herself. It’s why so many moms love having hair and makeup included with their session!
Grayson is the cutest baby boy, he was calm and alert throughout the session. I always let the baby lead the session. If they are awake and content then we will get photos of the baby just as they are. Once he had a solid feed, he was swaddled and fell asleep in mom’s arms.
There’s something so special about those first family portraits. When you go from a family of two to three. I know what an honor it is to come alongside you in your most vulnerable moments, to help you hold onto your most precious memories that you can never get back. You will look back at these portraits years from now and those sleepless nights, the middle of the night feedings, will be but a distant memory. I’m so thrilled to capture his first year and help his parents keep their favorite memories of him in an album to cherish always.
