3 Tips Before Baby Is Born | Suggestions From Newport Beach Newborn Photographer

The internet and social media is filled with tips on what to do before your baby is born. But take it from me, a mama of two and a newborn photographer, I have some tips you may have not thought about.

PREPARE HOUSE

  • Have your house professionally cleaned so you have a clean space to come home to after an exhausting few days.

  • Either food-prep your meals, like frozen meals or casseroles, or use a delivery service that does this for you. Trust me, you'll be hungry and not want to cook food or wait for Door Dash, so have something ready for you.

  • If you have pets, have them groomed for your arrival home to introduce them to your little one.

PREPARE CAR

  • Have the car seat already installed (you never know if baby comes early, the convenience of having it installed without dad having to do it last minute at the hospital).

  • Have the car washed so you have a clean car to get into with baby.

  • Have a storage organizer with extra diapers, wipes, baby clothes, change of clothes for mom (you'll be thankful you did) pacifiers and hand sanitizer. This will come in handy during those early days, especially with pediatrician visits when you're operating on little sleep, trying to get out of the house on time and forgetting to pack your diaper bag.

PREPARE FOR NEWBORN SESSION

  • Don't wait until baby is born to reach out to book a newborn photographer.

  • Most photographers book up months in advance, so it's best to reach out during the first trimester.

  • When you book with our Newport Beach studio, we have taken care of everything!  All you have to do is show up with your baby and we take care of the rest.

Ambre Williams Photography is a maternity, newborn, and family photographer in Orange County, CA. Our studio is located in Newport Beach and we serve clients from the surrounding areas including Corona Del Mar, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Newport Coast, and Orange County.
