Newborn Photographer in Newport Beach | Baby Elijah
Did you know there are about 1,000 babies born each month in Orange County? As a newborn photographer in Newport Beach, I can photograph six of those babies. SIX. That’s it. And right now we’re in the middle of a baby boom and I want to make sure every Mama knows how important it is to prioritize newborn photography.
Yes, professional newborn photography is an investment, but I promise you’ll never regret it. These are the most precious memories and you’ll never be able to get them back. But, you can freeze them in time through the artwork we create together.
Ortiz Family Welcomes Baby Boy #3
It’s been such an honor to be able to document this season for the Ortiz family. Ever since their outdoor maternity session, I’ve been so excited to meet sweet Elijah. The love his parents and big brother have for him is just so sweet. There is an appreciation for the life they have created that you can just feel and it’s truly an honor to photograph. The Ortiz family reminds me why I fell in love with photographing newborn photography and young, growing families.
Jaime chose one of my favorite dresses from the client wardrobe for newborn sessions. It’s flattering and easy to nurse in if you’re a breastfeeding Mom. We kept it really neutral for the guys. I wanted to make sure everyone coordinated well for Elijah’s newborn session, but also for the sessions to come throughout his first year as a Collective Member.
Elijah’s newborn session was by far one of the easiest I’ve ever photographed. A session runs so smoothly when parents are calm and relaxed, trusting me to do my job. I've often said that babies (and siblings) can feel your energy so if anyone is stressed they can sense it. This session was no exception - Mom and Dad relaxed and enjoyed watching me pose Elijah.
The two big brothers were just as excited. They loved helping me while Mom got ready, and then when it came time for their photos they were so sweet with their baby brother. It’s going to be so much fun not only watching baby Elijah grow over the next year but also the bond between the three boys.

After your newborn session, we’ll schedule an appointment to design your custom birth announcements. It’s one less thing to do and ensures you get to share your latest blessing with your friends and family.
