It's just a few short days until Christmas...and I'm finally getting around to sharing our home. I've mentioned before that Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love giving gifts, spending time with family, the smell of baking cookies, the way the lights twinkle at night. This year our decorations were neutral with gold, soft pinks and blues mixed with greenery and I love the way it turned out!
First, you walk into our living room. We spend most nights cuddled on the couch with Zeke on our laps. Most of our house has copper accents, so the greenery from Trader Joes mixed nicely and added warmth to the space (and made the house smell pretty nice, too!)
This year we found a nice, fresh tree that seemed a little small compared to our tall vaulted ceilings, but it's grown on us ;) Gold, copper and soft blue ornaments hang from the tree with white velvet ribbon garland. My obsession with fur continues with the tree skirt that's buried under the presents.
I found an ornament that looks just like Zeke, at Joann's. I got him one, too! He plays with it like it's his baby kitten.
My mom gifted me the bottle brush tree that was handmade at a craft fair. It's so unique resting inside a "first place trophy cup" with Paris dangling charms hanging from the top.
Now onto the kitchen & dining room...
I loved that marquee Noel sign I found at Target last year. It will definitely be up every year now!
I bought some glass plates from the dollar store and used a gold paint pen to write on them. I love how it turned out!
These fun cardboard villages light up and are so sparkly! They looked perfect on the buffet table in the dining room.
I hope your enjoyed our home tour. Merry Christmas! xoxo
