Baby Boy’s Newborn Session in Newport Beach, CA

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to photograph Bree and Aaron’s maternity session at Crystal Cove. Their session was so beautiful and I loved getting to know them and their story. They have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of their precious rainbow baby, Conor, and I am happy to say he has arrived! There are not enough words to describe just how much joy it brought me to photograph this baby boy’s newborn session in my studio in Newport Beach, CA.

Everything about this newborn session was just so sweet. Both Bree and Aaron were calm, 100% present, and you could just feel the depth of their love for their son. Believe it or not, baby’s can sense your energy which is why this session went so smoothly. Conor slept most of the session, was content for his solo photos, and loved to snuggle with Mom and Dad.

We even got a few photos of him smiling while in their arms. I knew the minute I took that photo that would be a moment they would be able to reflect back on for the rest of their life. They were finally holding their rainbow baby and the joy on their faces says everything. I’m just so thankful and honored to be able to give them a tangible memory to hold on to. And one day, they’ll be able to share it with Conor too!

I have absolutely loved getting to know Bree and Aaron throughout their maternity and newborn sessions. The best is yet to come and I cannot wait to continue to document their family and watch Conor grow this year!
